Bates Motel

Bates Motel

I don't know if anybody else have been seeing the promo's for Bates Motel on A&E but it looks fantastic. I enjoyed the first Psycho movie so it's nice to be able to see what made Norman as crazy as he was.

I know it's not Paranormal or Supernatural but it is based on a Horror movie so if anybody has the chance I think it's definitely worth watching.

Plot:
This film intends to give viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates' psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn first hand how his mother, Norma, and her lover damaged Norman, helping forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history. (on IMDB written by A&E)

Cast:
Freddy Highmore - Freddy who has grown up very quickly starred in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as Charlie.

Vera Farmiga - She's been in quite a few movies including Up in Air, and Safe House

Well I hope everybody checks this TV Mini series because I think it's going to be great.

Review of Warm Bodies

Warm Bodies

After R (a highly unusual zombie) saves Julie from an attack, the two form a relationship that sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world. IMDB

Okay so the first trailer I saw for this movie I thought 'Sweet, it's been awhile since I've seen a good zombie movie'. Well this was a good zombie movie, it was cute. The beginning sequence with 'R' walking around doing his normal everyday zombie things was funny because of the narrating from him. I'm a fan of gory, action packed zombie movies (e.g Dawn of the Dead and the Resident Evil movies) so I was kind of expecting and hoping that this movie was going to be like that but it wasn't. Yeah sure there were a couple action sequences but nothing to get my heart pumping. But it was a cute so called Rom Com/Zombie flick. Another thing was watching 'R' run as a zombie was absolutely hilarious and when he was trying not to stare at Julie but he was looking creepy anyway was kind of funny too.
So the thing I was sort of confused about was 'R' was already kind of talking before he even meets Julie (which is when he starts to change). The grunting was fine because that's what we normally expect from zombie's because of their un-dead status but talking, that's a little far fetched.

Overall I thought it was a cute movie, maybe a good first date movie for couples who aren't into the mushy romance movies.

I give this movie my Vee Stamp of approval
Enjoy

Supernatural Season 8 Episode 12

Supernatural Season 8

Episode 12 As Time Goes By

So this episode opens with a guy maybe from the early fifties tucking his son into bed then heading off to some ceremony of sorts. At this ceremony everybody gets murdered by a demon (bigger shocker right, lol) except for the guy in the above picture with Sam and Dean. This Henry makes a spell on the wall in blood and jumps through this portal holding a box that was given to him to protect from the demon Abaddon. Henry lands in present time flying through the closet door of Sam and Dean Winchester's crappy motel room. Henry keeps telling them that he needs to speak with John Winchester (Sad face). The boys tell him that John is dead and that's when we find out that Henry is John's father which makes him Sam and Dean's grandfather. Abaddon finds a way to follow Henry to present time where the chase and fight continues. We find out that the box that Henry has is the key to deciphering all scrolls, spells and surprisingly tablets. Sadly Grandpa Henry doesn't make it and he dies protecting the boys by killing ( well sort of) Abaddon. I feel kind of bad for those boys because they don't have much luck in the family department do they.

Until next time Winchester lovers :)

Being Human Season 3 Episode 3

Being Human Season 3 Episode 3

Episode 3 The Teens They Are A Changin'

At the ending of the last episode Sally and Josh walk outside to find that ? was dead. Sally feeling totally horrible heads to the funeral home hoping to run into his ghost. And boy does she. Sally tries to make things right but he doesn't accept her apology, well can you blame him, she knew that she had to stay away from the people that knew her when she was alive and look what happens.
Josh then shows up to the storage unit to propose but when he gets there he can see that she ripped through the door and got out. Josh searches high and low for Nora and he and Sally even start calling every hospital looking for her then after a bit Nora comes walking in the door telling Josh that the twins have a father and that he's here. At work Josh comes across a young runaway with scratches from a werewolf and after discussing it Nora and Josh decide to bring her home and Josh plays the video of him changing. At dark Nora takes the girl out to the woods to change.
Aidan continues his search for clean blood with Henry and they are not having much luck.
With out giving up too much information for the ones who haven't seen this episode, at the end there is an awesome twist with this so called witch.

Can't wait for the next episode!!!
