True Blood Season 6 Episode 1

True Blood Season 6 Episode 1 - Who are you, really?

Okay well it's back Trubies, another season of True Blood. Now as a lover of the books I was hoping that this season would bring Quinn, Sookie's Tiger shifter lover from the books but again I am disappointed. I know it's only the first episode but I have been reading some of the chatter on the net and nobody is mentioning Quinn, so I just want to get out my disappointment of how far they have gone off from the books.

Okay so now that is out of my system let's talk about the episode. Meh. I don't know what I was expecting but I wasn't blown away. I don't like this whole Bill being Lilith thing, I don't like that Eric seems like a wimp now, I want my strong, ruthless Eric back. I don't like his sister Nora, she's annoying and so is Tara, again. I thought it was funny when Andy's fairy babies went from being little babies to toddlers overnight, that was funny. I also don't like how angry and mouthy Jason is. Overall it was okay but I was expecting more, maybe, it could be because we've been waiting so long for it to come back and when you wait so long and the episode is meh it's upsetting  The nice thing is we can finally put a face to Warlow, and I love that it's Rutgar Hauer (aka Lothos) from Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. One of my fav's.

Everybody makes it out of The Authority's headquarters, battered but alive, well sort of.

The building explodes with Bill inside but now since he's I don't know what he is able to walk away from it.

Bill calls Jessica back to their house and she, since he's her Maker, has to go because she can't disobey him Sookie joins her and they find Bill sitting there. Eric shows up with Nora and now Bill is faster and goes to stake Eric but Sookie protects Eric and stakes Bill in the back. We then find out that Bill can't be killed, as he pulls the stake through his body out his chest and heals. Jessica freak and they leave with Eric walking Sookie home then he gives her back her house, and to repay him she takes back her invitation into her house.

Jason, who walked away from The Authority's headquarters angrier than before and gets a ride from a nice man. He finds out that this gentleman is Warlow who is going to Bon Temps for Sookie.

Now I'm not 100% sure who this guy is and what his purpose is but I don't like it. At all!

Well until next week Trubies, it's been great.

Waiting Sucks - It sure does

Waiting Sucks - It sure does

Okay Trubies, it's that time of year again when our favourite Bon Temps vampires, fairies, werewolves and mere humans are back, this time it's Season 6.
Wow I can't believe it's already Season 6, were has the time gone?

My hopes for this season:
More Eric scenes
More Naked Eric scenes
Lots of Alcide scenes
More of Eric and Sookie together (except I heard a rumor there's a new love interest, boo)
Now speaking of that new love interest, I hope it's Quinn. For those who read the books Quinn is Sookie's hot Were tiger that she hooks up with for a little bit but because of how far they have gone off away from the books I just don't know what to expect from this season.

Yum!!!

Can't Wait

True Blood Season 5 Season Finale Save Yourself

Okay so I was just going over my blog and realized that I didn't post anything about the season finale of True Blood, shame on me. So here we go :)

True Blood Season 5 Episode 12 Save Yourself

So before even the opening credits Russell Edgington gets staked by Eric. :( This make me sad because I just loved Russell Edgington but at the same time I was glad that Eric swooped in to save the day. Even though I miss bad boy Eric I love this Eric too!!

So Eric, Nora, and Tara team up with Jason, Jessica and Sookie to go back into The Authorities headquarters to save Bill, Pam and Jessica. First I have no idea why Eric feels the need to save Bill but his need to save Pam is the reason they head in.

Jason who was dealt a big blow to the head from Russell Edgington wakes up seeing his dead parents who are really against vampires. So heading into The Authories headquarters Jason is out to kill as many vampires as possible.

After freeing Pam and Jess and after Pam and Tara have their little moment together the gang got ready to find Sookie and Eric who are going after Bill.

Eric thinks that the only person to get through to Bill is Sookie but he's so far gone. He even convinced Salome that she was 'The Chosen One' and convinced her to drink all of the Lilith blood but Bill has ulterior motives by putting silver in different blood and by Salome drinking it she becomes weakened and Bill stakes her which leaves Bill the last standing Council member other than Eric and Nora.

Eric and Sookie find Bill and even after Sookie pleading Bill to stop Bill drinks Lilith's blood. This causes a strange reaction in Bill's body, he starts bleeding from every possible spot then suddenly his body bursts into a big blood pile. Thinking that Bill is dead Eric tries to comfort a sobbing Sookie but that doesn't last long. Bill slowly starts to rise out of the blood just like how Lilith has done. Bill lets out an inhuman scream then Eric screams "Run."

Aside from the vampire portion of True Blood the season finale showed Luna and Sam trying to save her daughter from Steve Newlin. The only way they could get her out would be Luna shifting into Steve Newlin, she does and tries to escape with her daughter but the red haired lady vamp makes Steve 'who is actually Luna' do a press conference on camera which doesn't go very good. Luna changes back into her form in front of the cameras that are live across the nation plus Sam 'as a fly' goes into the red haired lady vamp's body and shifts inside her turning her to jelly. Soon after that Luna collapses closing her eyes, possibly for good???

Next we have Andy's fairy woman Morella shows up very pregnant and goes into labour in Merlotte's while Holly, Layfayette and Arlene having a nightcap or two or three. Layfayette and Arlene with that drunken lady (crap can't remember her name) sit back drinking while Holly helps deliever Andy's half fay half human babies. After Morella gave birth (which actually sounded like she was having a orgasm) to her four baby girls. After the last one was born she jumps off the pool table, yes I said pool table and told Andy that those children are his sacred duty and they are all his then she left. Oh boy.

Overall it was a pretty good season. There were a lot of things going on like pregnant fairies, fairy clubs, Jason seeing his dead parents, Layfayette talking to dead people, Tara becoming a vampire, Bill going nuts, Eric becoming the responsible one, Russell Edgington dying not before taking over the authority, Terry's fire monster, and lots more so maybe they over filled it but I can't wait for next season. Already counting down the days.

Till next season Trubies

True Blood Season 5 Episode 10

True Blood Season 5 Episode 10
Gone, Gone, Gone

After a so-so episode last week True Blood comes back with a excellent episode.
With Eric knowing that he has to get out of The Authority's headquarters he enlists the help of the tech savvy Molly to escape. They drug Nora and plan to use her blood to escape but Bill turns them in. I don't get with the whole Bill thing, maybe he's just playing but I don't think so, I think he wants to live like an Sanguinista.

After caputring Eric and Molly, Nora and Bill force feed Eric Lilith's blood making Eric hallucinate again. This time Eric and Nora (who also took some of Lilith's blood) hallucinate Godric then Lilith shows up ripping Godric's throat out. I don't really know why Godric was there anyway except for trying to lead Eric in the right way but whatever, I was happy to see Godric again. Then sadly they got Molly with the iStake :(

I don't know about anybody else but when I see Eric looking like this I just want to hold him.

Then the new Sheriff of Area 5 made a demand stating that all the vampires start making more vampires to boost up their numbers. Tara doesn't agree with that so with the help of Ginger (who I love) Tara chops the new Sheriff's head off. Thank goodness, I was getting tired of looking at the Goth wanna be reject.

Next did anybody else tear up with the whole Hoyt, Jason and Jessica goodbye. I wasn't shocked that Hoyt decided to move on with everything that happened to him but it was sad when he asked Jessica to glamour him to erase the memory of her to break our hearts more he wanted Jason erased from his memory too.

Oh one more thing Mike Spencer a vampire????
I was not expecting that one at all.

Until next time Trubies, only two more episodes left :(

True Blood Season 5 Episode 9 Everybody Wants to Rule the World

True Blood Season 5 Episode 9
Everybody Wants to Rule the World

True Blood's new It couple, lol. I love Russell Edgington and I love Rev. Steve Newlin so them as a couple kind of makes sense, they are both psycho's.

In this boring and overall not a very good episode really didn't provide us any thoughts of what is going to happen with The Authority or lead us closer to Who is the vampire that killed Sookie's parents and anything else but it leads us to WTF moments.

The first being, why is Emma a wolf cub all the time? It doesn't really make sense to me and yes I know Russell kind of leads the werewolves but I still just don't get it, it really doesn't click with me.

Next I'm very happy that the writers have finally ended the whole smoke monster stupid story line with Terry shooting his old army boss in the head saving Arlene. I love Terry and I love Arlene, they are so cute together.

I love seeing Lafayette back to his Season 1 and 2 quirps and comments like this episode's"Dead folk, why y'all got to be so cryptic?" while he is listening to Sookie's Gran telling Sookie to look under the bed for clues about who Warlow is but all she finds is a box with things like Jason's report card and other little trinkets.

Now the WTF moment:
All the people with the Obama masks that were going around shooting shapeshifters were part of this bigger picture. And the weird thing is Ex-Sheriff Bud Dearborn was part of it. When Sookie went over asking him questions about her parents death Bud's stupid girlfriend of the moment smacks her over the head with a frying pan. Sookie wakes up in a barn tied up with Hoyt who is all drugged up because he let Jessica go. Bud and The Dragon (the leader of their clan, his stupid girlfriend) tells Sookie that they are cleansing the world getting rid of shifters, everything that isn't normal. Sheriff Andy and Jason come to rescue and they end up shooting and killing Bud which was sad but at the same time I said WTF.

Next we find out that because of everything that is going on with The Authority that they have now made this weird looking guy the new Sheriff of Area 5. Boo!!!!! Anybody else think he looks like a vampire want a be, not an actual vampire. I don't like him!!!

Overall not the greatest episode but what can I say?

True Blood Season 5 Episode 8

True Blood Season 5 Episode 8
Somebody I Used To Know!!!
Yes I know I'm a week late, sorry Trubies

Okay so in this episode Sookie and Jason and all their Fairy buddies head out to the scene of their parents accident that killed them to find out what really happened. Well Sookie taps into her parent's memories as they died but at the end after seeing the now deceased Claudine Sookie is sucked into the mind of the vampire that murdered her parents Warlow. Now I've read the books and have never seen or read anything about a Warlow. This season has veered so from the books that I have no idea what's going to happen next.

Next Jessica gets kidnapped by the people wearing Obama masks who are killing the sup's. They bind her with silver and bring Hoyt in to kill her. I thought for a moment that he was going to do it but he didn't. Maybe they will get back together at some point.

Holly and Arlene with the help of Layfayette tried to perform a fake seance to help Terry but since Layfayette is a medium the spirit told him that for the fires to stop Terry has to kill Patrick or the other way around. I can't wait for this silly story line to end.

So are you seeing two Sam's, well so did we. Can the real Sam please stand up? On your right is the real Sam and on your left is Luna, yes I said Luna who has skin walked before. And remember the last person to skin walk, Tommy, died from doing it.

Now I'm not a huge fan of Bill, but I don't like him going in the bad boy direction. Eric is supposed to be the bad boy not Bill. I don't know where they are going with this but I guess we will have to sit back and see.

After having a couple really good episodes, this one was okay. I don't know what else to say.

True Blood Season 5 Episode 7

True Blood Season 5 Episode 7
In The Beginning

Again True Blood brought us another amazing episode. I'm so happy that they are back on track with because of an iffy episode this season.

So in this episode we find out that Sookie's fairy powers are starting to fade away, the fairies and Jason think it's a horrible thing but not Sookie, Sookie asks the question if they fully go away will she become human. And what a treat after hearing voices in your head all your life. At the end of the episode Sookie starts to deliberately use her fairy powers to the extreme hoping to lose them.

Next Russell, The Remain member of The Authorities Council, Bill, Eric and Reverend Newlin all end up taking a drink of Lilith's blood after Russell kills Roman. I don't trust this Salome and Nora, I really thought Nora was a good one but I think I was wrong on this one. After taking in Lilith's blood they all become drunk with what I think is power. They hit the streets and Russell struts like he owns the place which I think is great. Man I love Russell Edginton.

Then Russell makes it even better by jumping on some stage with some human girl singing along with her for this dinner party of her family watching her. Well these humans become the dinner for the vampires. After pretty well draining every human, including a child the drunk vampires see Lilith arise from a drop of blood.

Now I don't know what anybody else was expecting of Lilith but I was kind of disappointed. I don't know what I was expecting but meh.
I don't know where they are going with this but when Godric appeared to Eric I thought that maybe Eric will be able to withstand the feeding frenzy that Lilith creates.

Last but not least, I am not going to complain about Tara, I know it's crazy. But I am wondering if now since she's a vampire is she going to show up and kill her mother for everything that she did in the past.
Also speaking of Tara, who knows what's going to happen with her cousin Layfayette. With Jesus's grandfather dead and his pregnant wife standing there with a knife, will Layfayette make it out alive? I hope so, I love Layfayette.

So overall an amazing episode and hopefully that shows what's to come for the rest of the season.

True Blood Season 5 Comic Con Trailer

True Blood Season 5 Comic Con Trailer

All I have to say is
OMG

San Diego Comic Con

San Diego Comic Con

Well is anybody else sad that they never made it to Comic Con in San Diego this year???
Well I am one sad Living Dead Girl

There was so much to see, so many panels to go to, so many booths to see, so many celebrities to see, so many costumes to see and so many other geeks and nerds to meet. My goal is to be there next year but we will see.

The list of the panels that I most wanted to be at:

1. True Blood

2. Supernatural

3. Vampire Diaries

4. Being Human (The American Version)

I know I'm probably missing some other fabulous shows and if I am I apologize but man I wish I was there :)

I want all readers of this blog to leave a comment telling me what show's panel you wish you were able to sit at. I'm really interested in seeing what my vistors like :)

True Blood Season 5 Episode 6
Hopeless

Well hello Trubies.
Did anyone else enjoy this episode, if so raise your hand LOL
The episode Hopeless was not Hopeless, it was fantastic. It had action, it had suspense, it had comedy (especially Alcide waking up in a pink bed), it was overall a great episode.

So was anybody surprised when the Authority sweeps in taking over the finding of Rusell Edgington right at the so called perfect moment when Eric was going to end him, well I wasn't shocked. But just so everyone knows I love Russell Edgington, I think Denis O'Hare plays him perfectly, and I love him more and more every episode so I hope he doesn't get killed off soon.
Next Sam comes to the rescue, rescuing Andy from almost being shot buy the stupid rednecks that are out killing all the shifters. I was actually shocked that Luna survived because for some reason I thought she was being killed off but I'm not complaining, I like her character, she's not annoying like Tara (sorry I just couldn't help drop that complaint again)
I don't know where they are going with this whole people out to kill shifter thing but it's better than the side story of Terry and the fire demon, lame...

Also I had to mention Alfre Woodard as Ruby Jean Reynolds aka Layfayette's mom. She is absolutely hilarious in every scene she does, I just love her to pieces.

This episode kept me hooked the whole episode and I hope they stay on this track so I give this episode 4 1/2 True Bloods out of 5. Well done

Until next weeks fellow Trubies :)

Just remember we only have six episodes left, I know that's sad but just remember True Blood has been renewed for a sixth season. Woot Woot!!!!

True Blood Season 5 Episode 5
Let's Boot and Rally

So what we were all waiting for all season, and last season didn't happen because Sookie who was drunk puked on Alcide :( Poor Alcide

I thought Sookie drunk was hilarious especially when she said something in the area of 'A 3000 year old vampire wants to drink my blood(something like that) it must be Thursday' was funny

Now Bill & Eric are off to find Russell before they are staked by their handy iStakes (pretty cool idea but not good for the vamps)
And shockingly they find Russell looking better than I thought he would have

The episode was good, and surprisingly Tara didn't annoy me like she usually does but this so called sub plot with Terry and this stupid fire monster thing is kind of stupid. I mean it doesn't even really make sense at all and I know it's just filler but at least with the Jason and Andy and fairy sub plot makes sense because of Sookie's ancestors being fairies and the sub plot with Sam and Luna kind of makes sense except it was sad seeing their friends shot then they got shot themselves. But when Luna's little girl changes into that little wolf cub was really cute.

Well overall I give this episode 4 True Blood's out of 5

Until next time Trubies, have a fangtastic week :)
