Okay Trubies, it's that time of year again when our favourite Bon Temps vampires, fairies, werewolves and mere humans are back, this time it's Season 6. 

Wow I can't believe it's already Season 6, were has the time gone?

My hopes for this season: 

More Eric scenes

More Naked Eric scenes

Lots of Alcide scenes

More of Eric and Sookie together (except I heard a rumor there's a new love interest, boo)

Now speaking of that new love interest, I hope it's Quinn. For those who read the books Quinn is Sookie's hot Were tiger that she hooks up with for a little bit but because of how far they have gone off away from the books I just don't know what to expect from this season.

Yum!!!

True Blood Season 5 Episode 6

Hopeless

Well hello Trubies.

Did anyone else enjoy this episode, if so raise your hand LOL

The episode Hopeless was not Hopeless, it was fantastic. It had action, it had suspense, it had comedy (especially Alcide waking up in a pink bed), it was overall a great episode.

 

So was anybody surprised when the Authority sweeps in taking over the finding of Rusell Edgington right at the so called perfect moment when Eric was going to end him, well I wasn't shocked. But just so everyone knows I love Russell Edgington, I think Denis O'Hare plays him perfectly, and I love him more and more every episode so I hope he doesn't get killed off soon.

Next Sam comes to the rescue, rescuing Andy from almost being shot buy the stupid rednecks that are out killing all the shifters. I was actually shocked that Luna survived because for some reason I thought she was being killed off but I'm not complaining, I like her character, she's not annoying like Tara (sorry I just couldn't help drop that complaint again)

I don't know where they are going with this whole people out to kill shifter thing but it's better than the side story of Terry and the fire demon, lame...

Also I had to mention Alfre Woodard as Ruby Jean Reynolds aka Layfayette's mom. She is absolutely hilarious in every scene she does, I just love her to pieces.

This episode kept me hooked the whole episode and I hope they stay on this track so I give this episode 4 1/2 True Bloods out of 5. Well done

True Blood Season 5 Episode 5

Let's Boot and Rally

So what we were all waiting for all season, and last season didn't happen because Sookie who was drunk puked on Alcide :( Poor Alcide

I thought Sookie drunk was hilarious especially when she said something in the area of 'A 3000 year old vampire wants to drink my blood(something like that) it must be Thursday' was funny

Now Bill & Eric are off to find Russell before they are staked by their handy iStakes (pretty cool idea but not good for the vamps)

And shockingly they find Russell looking better than I thought he would have

The episode was good, and surprisingly Tara didn't annoy me like she usually does but this so called sub plot with Terry and this stupid fire monster thing is kind of stupid. I mean it doesn't even really make sense at all and I know it's just filler but at least with the Jason and Andy and fairy sub plot makes sense because of Sookie's ancestors being fairies and the sub plot with Sam and Luna kind of makes sense except it was sad seeing their friends shot then they got shot themselves. But when Luna's little girl changes into that little wolf cub was really cute.

Well overall I give this episode 4 True Blood's out of 5

True Blood Season 5 Episode 4

We'll Meet Again

Okay so first off this episode was a lot better than the last, well at least this time I didn't want to walk away and do something else. Except for the Tara parts.

To all the people who have read the books Tara isn't a prominent character and I liked that better, I just find her annoying.

But to move on I found it a little sad when Eric let Pam free. I love Pam so I hope she doesn't leave the show, she has great one liners and I know that that is the writers but Kristin Bauer van Straten delivers them perfectly.

Next does anybody else know what's going to happen here???

Well I do and I think it involes Sookie and Alcide getting freaky LOL

I've wanted them to get together since Joe Manganiello started playing him, okay well since I've read the books I always loved him but Joe plays him perfectly, plus he's super duper hot (has anyone seen Magic Mike? if not do it)

I have big hopes for this season and so far I haven't been disappointed

Also I forgot to mention that True Blood has been picked up for a 6th season. I wonder how they're going to hide Anna Paquin's pregnancy but all the best to her and Stephen Moyer on their pending little one :)

True Blood Season 5 Episode 3

Oh I love Pam, she sometimes get's the best lines in the show. I don't like the Salome character, I think she's up to something. I love the Rev. Newlin is the new Nan Flannigan (she was an annoying character too, so I wasn't too upset when Bill and Eric killed her.)

Yes it's nice not seeing Bill and Eric all obsessed with Sookie but I do want to see her and Alcide get a little friendlier, if you get my drift.

I don't know if anybody who reads this has read the Charlaine Harris books but in the books Sookie starts to date Quinn, so keeping my fingers crossed I hope he makes an appearance but I'm not holding my breath. The writers have strayed from the books so much that now I think this show is based very loosley on the books, very loosley.

True Blood Season 5 Episode 1

Bill, Eric and Nora!!!

So Trubies...


Sunday night was the Season 5 premiere!!! And your thoughts are????

Well I enjoyed it. I'm not a huge fan of Tara so *SPOILER ALERT* when Sookie and Layfayette got Pam to turn Tara, well I was disappointed, I find her to be a very annoying character and that's why I enjoy the books because she's not in them much.

Eric was sexy like always. Pam was funny as always, especially in her yellow old lady jogging suit hehe.

With Sookie ending things with Bill and Eric I want to see her and Alcide get it on more because that means we get to see more of that sexy Joe Manganiello (all I have to say is I can't wait for the movie Magic Mike (google the trailer ladies) )

I wish they stuck to the books more because I enjoy them and all I can hope is that they bring Quinn in (again ladies read the books, Quinn is a hottie weretiger)
